Abstract:   The workshop focuses on the instructor's role in designing and implementing Pedagogies of Engagement based on recent scholarly work in cognitive science and brain research. This hands-on, interactive workshop focuses on the professor's role in designing and implementing Pedagogies of Engagement. It includes a simulated exercise and video examples from actual classes as well as the supporting theory and research.
